With the rise of new and wildly popular image generators like Midjourney, Craiyon, and Nightcafe, not to mention platforms like Getty Images and Adobe launching their own tools, graphic designers are understandably feeling the pressure. Yet SEEK is forecasting a 21.7% increase in employment opportunities for graphic designers in Australia, indicating a growing demand for these roles.

So if any layperson can generate a custom image or design, instantly, with zero training, it raises a pressing question: What does the future hold for graphic designers and the industry as a whole?

Join us for our next On the Couch session as we explore the impacts of emerging technology on the graphic design industry with Adobe, Dentsu and R/GA. The panel will dive into:

  • The skills needed to stay competitive in the evolving landscape of graphic design
  • How to balance creativity and technology
  • Getting buy-in from c-suite teams to support emerging technology
