Professionals Australia and RMIT Online Announce Strategic Partnership

Bringing world class, micro-credentialed learning solutions to industry.

Professionals Australia and RMIT Online are pleased to announce our new partnership aimed at providing members access to micro-credentials and short courses to enable upskilling in alignment with the future of work.

At a time where there is significant disruption taking place across the globe, individuals and associations are having to deal with the complexities of upskilling to remain relevant.  Deloitte has estimated the national skills deficit is set to grow to 29 million by 2030, with the average worker missing nearly two of 18 critical skills advertised for a job.

Helen Souness, CEO RMIT Online said the partnership will help equip professionals for the future of work and is an example of bringing world class, micro-credentialed learning solutions to industry.

“We look forward to working closely with Professionals Australia and their members to help them successfully build their practices using the latest technology and digital skills they can develop with our learning experiences designed specifically for online delivery and mentoring.  Delivering innovative online courses and programs in partnership with industry leaders, we are excited to extend these amazing learning experiences to members for years to come,” she said.

Gordon Brock, CEO of Professionals Australia said the short nature of the courses is highly relevant for working professionals.

“We are pleased to expand our relationship with RMIT Online. Our members are looking for high quality learning experiences that are meaningful, impactful and fast. RMIT Online is a pioneer in this space in Australia with courses co-created with industry giants like Apple, Salesforce, Amazon, and Tableau.  They bring the best of breed organisations together with superior online learning pedagogy to create rich learning experiences making them the right partner for us and our members," he said.
