Why study Product Management Fundamentals?

As the leader of the strategy, design, execution, and optimisation of new and existing products, a product manager’s role involves taking a digital or physical product to market, measuring data, and improving its performance at every stage of the product lifecycle.

Our Product Management Fundamentals course will equip you with the necessary skills to begin your product management career. You’ll learn how to drive success in a modern business, creating value through scalable solutions and continuous delivery.

Who this course is for?

  • Project managers, entrepreneurs, or anyone looking to upskill in product management and incorporate product management capabilities into their current role

What you'll learn
  • An overview of product management

  • How product management is relevant in an organisational context

  • How to formulate and apply agile product roadmaps, strategy, and methodologies

  • Establish and manage effective stakeholder engagement

  • Product strategy, customer value, and prioritisation

  • How to develop an effective go-to-market strategy

How does it work

This course will teach you the skills to shift your focus to become a product led business - from developing the roadmap and prioritising tasks, to having a clear vision and strategy and owning the full product lifecycle. You will learn how to deliver value to your customers and bridge technical and business worlds using modern, iterative methods.

You will work on a final presentation creating a new product with an accompanying go-to-market strategy that focuses on MVP, KPIs, market analyses, product life cycle and end user research. You'll also get access to free Jira Software

If you'd like to get advanced knowledge on the product lifecycle, commercial acumen and more, this course is designed to be taken as part of a two course bundle. The second course in this bundle is Advanced Product Management.
