Personalisation of online learning needs to be real and authentic
Personalisation of online learning needs to be real and authentic
Our RMIT Online teachers do an amazing job of humanising the online learning space. They need to be expert communicators of course content and assessment expectations. But they don't stop there: They need to create challenging virtual classrooms where students can feel confident they are known and valued as individuals in a safe, comfortable and welcoming online space. A space for engagement in vital and active learning.
This requires teachers with not only genuine commitment but also the life skills to create an exciting and collaborative learning environment. In this short video clip one of our STAR online learning facilitators, Chris Hope, reflects on how this is achieved.
