Watch: What was it like studying online in 2020?

How some of our students found an opportunity to upskill online during COVID-19

This year, a large number of Australian working professionals had their hours drastically reduced overnight as we grappled with the new norm of living in a pandemic era. While it’s been tough for a lot of people, some of our students found an opportunity to upskill and used the time to expand their knowledge in an area that they’ve been interested in for some time.

“The best part is that you don’t feel like you’re studying alone because now you are part of this big and amazing learning community.”

We spoke to some of our students about using their spare time in 2020 to upskill, and what it was like studying online for the first time (all while working from home during a pandemic, juggling toddlers, unemployment and of course, loud tram noises outside your study area). Check out the video above to hear from a few of our students about their time studying with RMIT Online in 2020.
